Fall 2012

Share your family's favorite fall tradition or memory! Pretty simple, right? There are so many ideas out there and I want to try them all, but I want to know what your family does to make those memories before the sweetness of Autumn is over! Whether it's simply raking up leaves to jump in a musty, crunchy pile or heading out for an all-day adventure to the apple orchard - share away! You can also enter this contest by commenting under this blog post about Fall.

And sharing this page with others who enter will earn you extra contest entries as well :) So let's reminisce or find a new family activity to do this year! Let's make these short few weeks last forever :)

The winner will be randomly chosen on Saturday, October 20th to receive a $5 Starbuck's giftcard to enjoy your favorite fall drink, whether that's their famous hot apple cider or a yummy pumpkin spiced latte :)

Any contest posted here must receive at least 10 entries for a winner to be drawn. The contest's end date will be announced no later than one week before the ending date, if not sooner. Winners are always chosen randomly, unless otherwise noted.  Aadditional entries can be earned by recommending friends who also enter. 1. My favorite fall tradition is cider and donuts at Johnson's pumpkin farm. It's fun getting lots of pictures and then comparing them to previous years and seeing how big the kids have gotten! ~Karissa

  2. Every year we go pick apples together. We pick a LOT of apples. Sometimes we go several times, to a few different orchards. Then, we either eat the apple as or I can them or I make different apple dishes. I love using apples and making applesauce that my family can then enjoy the entire year.

  3. We are just starting our family fall traditions. Starting this year, I want to go pumpkin picking with the whole family and help the kids carve or paint their pumpkins. I also want to pick apples and teach them how to make apple pie. :)

  5. Our family weekend fall tradition started about 6 years ago. My husband and I would go to our cottage then head over to one of the kid's universities and take in a football game and dinner. Then we would all go to the cottage for a bonfire, quad riding, and shoot some targets.

  6. Since K is still a little young, we haven't really started any family traditions yet. But I would love to start visiting an apple orchard to pick apples and get cider doughnuts.
